So, how does EverBlade work?
Myth has it that hair causes the
razor blade to dull. However, razor blade dullness stems more from oxidation,
microscopic rusting, not from contact with hair. This corrosion causes metal on
the blade to flake off and the edge to become blunted and jagged. Resulting in
blades pulling and tearing hairs instead of cleanly slicing through them. The
manufactures secrete is chromium, this keeps the blade shiny and hides the
rust.
When razor blades are sharpened
the steel becomes magnetized, which rapidly accelerates the oxidation process
by attracting rust ions. EverBlade uses a Patent Pending Technology
of specifically designed copper plates to create an energy field that
de-magnetizes the steel in the razor blade, giving the blade a negative
charge. This negative charge repels any rust ions from the edge of the
blade, thus preventing corrosion and maintaining the longevity of the
blade. Simply place your razor on the EverBlade stand after each
use and enjoy each time an incredibly clean and sharp shave.
EverBlade is completely self sufficient, requires no
electricity, no batteries, no maintenance (except the occasional dusting). This
new eco-friendly technology will keep billions of razor blades and all their
packaging out of our landfills every year, and save you hundreds of Dollars
over the years.
For Best Results Using Your EverBlade
Place a brand new razor blade on
the EverBlade stand and allow it to set for 24 hours before using.
Point the EveBlade stand so that it faces either east or west. This
positioning helps amplify the magnetic force that repels the corrosion.
Pat your razor dry when finished shaving to remove access water from the blade
and return it to the EverBlade stand.
General Shaving Tips
First you will want to soften
your beard so that the pores are relaxed and open; this will help to prevent
razor burn, nicks and reduce irritation. Begin by rinsing your face with
warm water or pressing your face with a warm damp towel. Next you will
want to use a gentle shaving cream or oil that will help soften the beard.
As you shave its best to use hot water to help keep the pores open
and the hairs soft as you are shaving.
A key component in a comfortable
shave is having a nice sharp blade. Old and blunt blades tend to drag
across the skin making for a very unpleasant experience as well as risking cuts
and scratches. Having a sharp blade also allows you to apply the proper
pressure while shaving. Often times one will try to compensate for the
dull blade by applying more pressure, causing skin burns and unnecessary
irritation.
For better control of your blade
a heavy handle is recommended. In addition, short strokes while you are
shaving will also help you control the blade and gives you a cleaner shave.
When you are finished shaving it
is best to rinse off with cool water to help close the pores of your skin, and
to apply an after shave cream to keep you skin moist and fresh.
